(UPDATED 4:30 p.m.) WESTPORT, Conn. – A portion of Jesup Road in Westport was closed Thursday afternoon after a cement truck brought down wires in front of the police department, police said.
The incident happened at approximately 2:30 p.m. The road was closed off directly in front of the police department, between the entrance to the Westport Library and Imperial Avenue.
The roadway was reopened to traffic at approximately 4:15 p.m.
