Disappointed that Speak Up 2011 was canceled this weekend in Weston? There's another chance to have your opinions heard at noon Monday, as U.S. Rep. Jim Himes, D-4th District, and Weston First Selectman Gayle Weinstein host a brown bag lunch at Weston Town Hall.
The event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to discuss topics such as debt, the economy and education. Everything is up for discussion, Weinstein said.
Himes is expected to leave the lunch at 1 p.m., but Weinstein anticipates staying an additional half-hour to discuss local issues with resident.
What topics are important to you? What kind of questions would you like to have answered? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
