Hey Westport, It's Time To Register To Vote For This Year's Election

WESTPORT, Conn. -- If you have put off registering to vote, now is the time in order to mark your ballot in this year's election.

The Registrars of Voters Office in Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave., Room 107, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays (except holidays) for voter registration. 

For those who can't make it during the work week, the office also will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., Oct. 17 and until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, which is the deadline date for the Nov. 3 election. 

Online registrations also is available at https://voterregistration.ct.gov

Monday, Nov. 2 is the deadline for registration for those who become 18, become a U.S. citizen or move into town between Oct. 28 and Nov.2. Individuals not registered by the deadlines, can vote and register with proof of identity and proof of residence from 6:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Town Hall auditorium
