Grant Supports Numerous Projects At Weston's Lachat Town Farm

WESTON, Conn. -- The Lachat Town Farm in Weston has a number of projects underway to shape up the farm for spring with the help of a grant from the Connecticut Department of Agriculture Viability, according to the Weston Forum.

Lachat Town Farm is busy at work getting the farm into shape for the spring with numerous projects including improvements to the greenhouse, farmhouse and putting the gardens to bed.

The Weston Forum said the projects include a new greenhouse, gardens and updates to the farmhouse.

The farm still needs to raise $30,000 to finish the project. To donate, send checks to Carol Baldwin at 31 Fanton Hill Road, Weston, or online at lachattownfarm.org/friendsoflachat, added the Weston Forum.
