Mark your calendar, Westport. The annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration, organized by the Westport Police Athletic League and the Westport Parks and Recreation Department, is set for July 1 at Compo Beach. In the event of rain, it will be held on July 5.
Tickets are on sale now at the police department or the parks and recreation office at Longshore.
Tickets are limited and cost $30 per car. Once those tickets are sold out, shuttle passes will be available for purchase.
Lydian Asset Management of Westport, which has sponsored the event for the past several years, is also sponsoring this year's celebration.
Where do you watch the fireworks from? On the beach? From a boat? Share with us below!
