Former Weston Resident Donna Summer Dies at 63

WESTON, Conn. – Singer Donna Summer, a former Weston resident, died Thursday following a battle with both breast and lung cancer, according to CNN. She was 63.

Summer, dubbed the “Queen of Disco,” rose to prominence on the music scene during the 1970s. She was a five-time Grammy winner, according to Wikipedia. Her most recent hit, “To Paris With Love,” was released in 2010. She died in Florida.
