WESTPORT, Conn. Westport homeowners whose properties were damaged by flooding from Hurricane Irene are urged to attend an informational meeting at the Westport Fire Headquarters on Tuesday night.
During the meeting, to be led by state Emergency Management Program Specialist Douglas Glowacki, residents can ask about repetitive loss and learn about applying for a Hazard Mitigation Grant.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and is expected to last about two hours. Homeowners unable to attend may call the Fire Headquarters after the meeting at 203-341-5000 for more information. Additional meetings are planned for the future. The Fire Headquarters is located at 515 Post Road E.
