Norwalk resident Jeffrey Laska was arrested Wednesday morning after he allegedly left his two young children unattended at his ex-wife's home. According to police reports, Laska, 43, was supposed to take his children with him for a visitation. He was charged with risk of injury to a child and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 22.

? Westport resident Lindsey Reed of 1655 Post Road E. was stopped by police on Nov. 6 on an arrest warrant from Norwalk. During a search of her car officers found two prescription bottles with the labels torn off. One contained Trazodone pills, the other Cetirizine pills. Reed, 23, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and later turned over to Norwalk police on the warrant. According to court records, the warrant stems from an Oct. 1 incident for which Reed was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny. She was being held at York Correctional Institution on $10,500 bond and is due in court on Nov. 16 for both cases.
? Norwalk resident David Nelson turned himself into Westport police on Nov. 6 on a warrant stemming from a September car accident in which Nelson, 52, flipped his vehicle on Compo Road South and hit a vehicle parked at the side of the road. A search warrant obtained for his medical records showed he was intoxicated at the time. He was charged with operating under the influence and failure to drive right. He is due in court Nov. 16.
