The review, which looked at Metro-North Railroad over the past 10 years, found that most of the accidents occurred when drivers tried to beat trains or stopped on the tracks, said the Connecticut Post.

In addition, the review found that Danbury, Milford and Redding each had two accidents at rail crossings during the 10 years that were studied. But the region is still better than Phoenix, the review found, where 24 accidents occurred over the same time period, added the Connecticut Post.
