EASTON, Conn. The Easton Arts Council wants photos of the town's scenery for its photography exhibition, which takes place in the Easton Library Community Room from Nov. 7 through Dec. 17. The judge will be Diana Mille, an adjunct professor of art history and director of the Thomas J. Walsh Art Gallery at Fairfield University .
Photographers should enter pieces that highlight the rural and scenic beauty of Easton. Awards will be given in adult and student categories. First prize winners will receive $100 and a ribbon and their photos will become part of the town of Easton's permanent collection. Second prize, honorable mention and four awards of merit will receive a ribbon and certificate.
Photographs should be dropped off Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Easton Library Community Room, located at 691 Morehouse Road.
