EASTON, Conn. Any resident who has a grievance with the real estate assessment given on the 2011 Easton grand list can attend a public hearing at the town assessors office this week.
According to information supplied on the Town of Easton website, the Board of Assessment Appeals will have hearings at 6 p.m. March 5, 6, 8, 12, 13 and 15 in the Assessors Office at Town Hall, 225 Center Road.
These meetings are not open to everyone, the town site states, "to receive an appointment with the Board of Assessment Appeals a taxpayer needs to call the Assessors' office to ask for an application which must be submitted and received in the office no later than February 20th."
