A traffic stop in Westport ended with the arrests of Jaclyn Kichar and Brian Whitlock, both Shelton residents.
According to police reports, Kichar, 25, was stopped while pulling out of the Stop & Shop parking lot Tuesday night. In speaking with Kichar, the officer noticed several cans of baby formula and packages of Tylenol and Visine partially hidden on the floor of the backseat. As the conversation progressed, Kichar allegedly admitted to stealing the items from a store in Ansonia. She was charged with fourth-degree larceny and was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 26.
Whitlock, 26, was found in possession of four syringes and a bag of crack cocaine, which was concealed in a box under the passenger's seat. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He is also due in court Nov. 26.

Norwalk resident Estefania Andrade, 24, turned herself in to Westport police Monday night knowing there was a warrant issued for her arrest. According to police, the warrant stemmed from her alleged failure to appear in court on multiple motor vehicle charges from August. Andrade was charged with failure to pay or plead and is due in court Nov. 24.
