Drivers Unhurt in Two-Car Crash

Their vehicles had to be towed from the scene but two drivers were uninjured in a two-car accident at the intersection of Kings Highway North and Wilton Road in Westport shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday, according to a release from the Fire Department. EMS responders evaluated the drivers, both of whom declined to be taken to a hospital.

Police were investigating the cause of the accident.

Almost two hours earlier, the Fire Department was called to an overturned car on I-95 a mile before Exit 18 northbound. A department release said the driver had crawled out of the car before units arrived. EMS treated the driver, who was later taken to Norwalk Hospital with minor injuries.
