Dog Tied to a Fence in Weston

WESTON, Conn. - A dog was tied to a fence on Ridge Road in Weston and Animal Control officers are looking for the owners.

On Monday, Weston Animal Control received a call from South Wilton Veterinary Group that someone dropped off a dog they found in Weston, Weston Animal Control Officer Mark Harper said.

The dog appears to be a husky or a husky mix, Harper said.

"We don't really know anything about the dog. Right now it is at the vet being treated and I can't really say much more than that," Harper said.

Doctors at South Wilton Veterinary Hospital were unavailable for comment.

If anyone knows anything about the incident or would like to adopt the dog, call the Weston Animal Control at 203-222-2642.
