Documentary Films Coming to Weston Library

WESTON, Conn. – Weston residents can check out more than just books at the Weston Public Library , as two documentary films will be shown this month.

The first, “ A Walk Around Brooklyn ,” follows the highly popular walking tours of the New York City borough and profiles its diverse neighborhoods and historic landmarks. This is one of a series of walking tours produced by Thirteen/WNET, New York's public television, in association with the Brooklyn Historical Society .

The screening will be held on Sunday, March 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the library.

The second documentary, “ DIRT! The Movie ,” is brought to you by the Friends of the Weston Library and the Weston Sustainability Committee . The film is narrated by Jamie Lee Curtis and brings to life the environmental, economic, social and political impact of soil. This screening will be held Thursday, March 29, at 7 p.m.

Both screenings are free and open to the public. The library is at 56 Norfield Road.
