School was not yet in session Monday when Westport resident Cody Ropiak of 436 Riverside Ave. decided to pay a late-night visit to Kings Highway elementary.
Police saw Ropiak, 18, walking away from his car after he parked in the entranceway to the school shortly before midnight. When police questioned him, they smelled alcohol on his breath. Ropiak admitted to police that he had been drinking and that there were alcoholic beverages in his car. Police seized several bottles of alcoholic drinks from his car and he was served with an infractions summons.
