The project consists of redesigning, eliminating and adding bunkers for improved playability and maintenance. It also includes installing bunker liners and new sand. Construction is being completed by Turco Golf, Inc. on weekdays, and is expected to be completed in early June 2018.

“We are excited that this phase of the project has begun," said First Selectman Jim Marpe. "These bunker improvements will insure that the golf experience at Longshore, one of Westport’s crown jewels, continues to be a positive one for years to come.”
