WESTON, Conn. An alarm sounded at La Roue Elayne at Cobbs Mill Inn at 4 a.m. Memorial Day, and Weston police officers were dispatched.
Officers found a window on the basement door broken but no one was there, said Detective Carl Filsinger. The restaurant on Old Mill Road just opened recently.
There appeared to be a break-in, but the manager of the restaurant reported nothing was missing, he said.
A police investigation was continuing, and the incident might be categorized a suspicious incident instead of a burglary if it is determined nothing was taken, Filsinger said.
