Award-Winning Journalist Speaking On New Book On Yitzhak Rabin In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. – Join award-winning journalist and writer Dan Ephron for an inside look at his book, “Killing a King: The Assassination of Yitzhak Rabin and the Remaking of Israel,” from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7 at Temple Israel in Westport.

Ephron’s new book discusses the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin by Jewish extremist Yigal Amir, and how it changed the course of Israel and, consequently, the state of world politics.

Ephron served as the Jerusalem bureau chief for Newsweek and the Daily Beast and covered both the peace-seeking leader’s killing and his hardline Orthodox assassin’s subsequent trial.

Books will be available for purchase and signing. Proceeds benefit the Westport Library.
