Antoinette Renzulli, 99, Lifelong Westporter

A Mass was held Saturday morning at St. Luke Church in Westport for Antoinette (Cacavelle) Renzulli, a lifelong Westport resident who died April 7. She was 99.

Renzulli was born Aug. 31, 1911, in Westport. Prior to retiring, she worked for the town as a cook in the food service department of Bedford Elementary School. She was a former member of the Saint Anthony's Society.

Renzulli had a passion for cooking and baking, enjoyed traveling, visiting with family and friends, and playing poker with her sisters and cousin. She was a member of St. Luke Church in Westport for the past five years. Before that, she was a longtime member of Assumption Church in Westport.

She is survived by a daughter, Laura Renzulli Bryk and her husband, Stanley, of Westport; a son, Michael A. Renzulli Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Wilton; a sister, Carrie Bennette and her husband, Salvatore, of Westport; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael A. Renzulli Sr., and four sisters, Mary Moccia, Rose DeMeo, Michelina Aulenti and Betty Bloom.

Burial was in Assumption Cemetery on Greens Farms Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Church, 84 Long Lots Road, Westport, CT 06880. Online condolences may be left on the Harding Funeral website .
