Y's Men To Detail Range Of Services Available To Seniors In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. — Y’s Man Peter Kolbrener, a member of the Westport Commission for Senior Services, will moderate a panel discussion on Thursday, Nov. 3, about the many helpful and useful services the town provides for its seniors.

The meeting of the Y's Men of Westport/Weston will be at the Saugatuck Congregational Church at 245 Post Road E., Westport.

Panel members will be Sarah Heath, director of the Westport Department of Human Services; Susan Pfister, director of the Westport Center for Senior Activities; Holly Betts, the Center’s Program Manager; and Kristen Witt, a social worker for the Department and the town’s Municipal Agent for the Elderly. 

They will describe the services for which they areresponsible and will answer questions from organization members.

Before the panel discussion, Marc Hartog, deputy director of the Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service, will discuss the services his organization provides. Over the past year, WVEMS has responded to more than 2,500 calls for medical assistance.
