After four months of renovations, the Whole Foods Market in Westport officially unveiled its new look Wednesday during a grand reopening party. And like any good party, there were games, food, prizes and live music by guitarist Bern McWain.
What's new and improved at Whole Foods? There's a new produce department, a gelato bar featuring local Cold Fusion Gelatos, a fully renovated coffee bar, a renovated pizza station, an expanded bakery, expanded meat and seafood sections, and a Healthy Eating Center.
During the grand reopening party, 5 percent of the day's sales were donated to the Connecticut Food Bank , which had a representative on site handing out information about the nonprofit group.
