WESTPORT, Conn. – Wondering what to do this weekend? Here's a look at some of the events planned in Westport over the next three days.

Friday, March 16

? 7 p.m.: Toquet Hall Teen Center, 58 Post Road E., is hosting an open mic night. To reserve a spot in advance, email: . Admission is $3.

? 7:30 p.m.: The Staples Players’ production of the hit Broadway musical comedy “Into the Woods” opens at the main stage theatre at Staples High School, 70 North Ave. The show, featuring music by Stephen Sondheim, tells the stories of classic fairytale characters, with a twist. Other performances will be held Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m., and next weekend. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 adults, and are available online or at the door 30 minutes before the show. Cash or checks only accepted at the door.

? 7 to 9:30 p.m.: It’s time again for the 15th annual Varsity Vogue Fashion Show and Auction at Mitchells of Westport, 670 Post Road E. The event, hosted by the Staples Varsity Cheerleading squad, raises funds for Staples cheerleading program, Staples athletics facilities and Westport PAL cheerleading. A portion of the proceeds will go to local charities. Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for students, and can be purchased at the door.

Saturday, March 17

? 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: The Friends of the Westport Library is hosting its annual winter book sale Saturday and Sunday. Browse hundreds of books, in a variety of genres. Hardcover and paperback books will be available. Children’s books will be on sale for $1 or less. Vinyl records, video and audio cassettes will also be for sale. Visa and MasterCard accepted. Proceeds benefit the library.

? 2:30 p.m.: In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Earthplace, 10 Woodside Lane, is hosting a “green” trail walk. Families are invited to search for four-leaf clovers and examine other green plants along the trails. One might even spot a leprechaun or two.

Sunday, March 18

? Noon to 4 p.m.: This is your last chance to see “Toy Stories” at the Westport Arts Center. The exhibit, which explores how we relate to toys and the memories and connections we have to them, features 30 artists who work with toys in a range of media. The Westport Arts Center is located at 51 Riverside Ave.

? 2 p.m.: Don’t miss the Westport Cinema Initiative screening of the 1956 film “The Man In The Grey Flannel Suit,” which was partially filmed in Westport. The event kicks off with a pre-screening reception at the Westport Historical Society, 25 Avery Place. The 3:15 p.m. screening will be held at Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave. A panel discussion will follow. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at , or on the day of the screening at the Westport Historical Society or Town Hall.
