The scholarship is awarded to an outstanding adult who is continuing her education and is currently enrolled in a college or university.
Applicants for the adult scholarship must have successfully completed two or more years in an accredited institution of higher learning with a 3.0 average or better and be pursuing a bachelor's or post-graduate degree. The award will be made on the basis of financial need and scholastic ability.
The club, organized in 1907, is a nonprofit philanthropic organization dedicated to volunteerism and the raising of funds in support of the educational, charitable, cultural and public health services in Westport and surrounding towns.
