Westporters Allison and Dani Schwartz don't have to wonder what Easter is like at the White House. That's because Monday, these sisters were among the 30,000 people taking part in the 133rd annual White House Easter Egg Roll.
With white long-handle spoons in hand, Allison, 6, and Dani, 3, rolled their Easter eggs along the rear lawn of the White House. And since this year's Easter Egg Roll theme was "Get Up and Go!" the girls also took part in a variety of activities, such as hula-hooping and basketball.
The Schwartz family won tickets to the Easter Egg Roll through an online lottery system in March. People from all 50 states attended the event. Also, celebrities Willow Smith, Colbie Caillat and Kristi Yamaguchi were in attendance.
It was an amazing experience, Paige Schwartz, the girls mom, said in an email.
