On April 7, congregants of all ages volunteered their time in communities such as Stamford, Norwalk and Bridgeport, serving meals at homeless shelters or sorting items at food banks. Others helped by donating food or raising money, the synagogue announced.
The term “Mitzvah” is commonly used to refer to worthy deeds or acts of kindness.
