Westport Residents Raise Money For SpinOdyssey

WESTPORT, Conn. – Two Westpoint residents, Patty Kondub and Mary Heery, met with health and wellness professionals from the YMCAs in Westport/Weston, New Canaan, Darien and Wilton to announce recent donations. SpinOdyssey gave $1,000 to benefit exercise programs for cancer survivors.

Kondub is the chairwoman of SpinOdyssey. It is a Westport-based fitness fundraising organization that has donated its pledges to the American Cancer Society and its registration fees to cancer support services. SpinOdyssey has been around for 15 years.

Heery is a breast health specialist at the Smilow Family Breast Health Center at Norwalk Hospital. The hospital’s referrals are given free memberships and can participate in specialized programs for three months at any of the area YMCAs.
