Westport Residents Head To Beach For Fireworks Show

WESTPORT, Conn. - After a five-day delay due to heavy rains last week, Westport residents set out Monday afternoon to pick out their seats on Compo Beach for the annual Independence Day fireworks.

Chairs were already set up at Compo Beach in Westport at 4:30 for the annual Fourth of July fireworks.

The fireworks show will begin at dusk off Compo Beach. All are welcome to attend the show, with prepurchased ticket for parking.

Tickets can be purchased at the Westport Police Department at 50 Jesup Road. Each ticket is $35 per car and is limited on a first-come, first-serve basis.
