There aren't many kids (or adults) who don't enjoy a puppet show, but "Kids on the Block," presented by the Westport Young Woman's League, aims to do more than entertain.

"We deal with subjects like bullying, disabilities and so forth," said Madeline Monde, president of the organization and one of the puppeteers.

The annual show is traditionally presented to all the second and third graders in Westport. Thursday's edition, at league headquarters on Imperial Avenue, was for the children of members.
