Westport Police Youth Collaborative Hosts Middle School 'Cop Shop'

WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Westport Police Youth Collaborative announced it will hold a Middle School Cop Shop on “Social Media and The Law: What every kid needs to know about their rights and responsibilities in a digital world” on Tuesday, March 4, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at Toquet Hall.

Middle school through high school aged youth are invited to share a meal with local officers while learning more about social media and personal responsibility.

There will be a question and answer session for attendees to learn about their rights regarding social media.

This is also an opportunity for officers to get to know more young people in the community in a non-enforcement capacity.

Toquet Hall is at 58 Post Road E. in Westport.
