Last weekend was a wonderful gift, the beautiful weather created an infectious energy around Westport. The beach was packed with the last hopes of an Indian summer. I hope you were able to enjoy the warm sunshine. People came out in packs to drop off their gently used Halloween costumes to Jim Bremm . Jim organized this drive to benefit the Department of Children and Families . There are over 7000 foster kids in the state of Connecticut and Jim wanted to make a difference. Bravo to Jim for his generous spirit. To learn more about the Department of Children and Families, please log onto www.ct.gov/dcf . Thank you to all who donated!
