A dip in Long Island Sound was just what a trio of teens needed to cool off Wednesday afternoon as temperatures rose over 90 degrees.
As the teens tossed a volleyball around in the water, a mother and her son passed a football back and forth on the water's edge.
If you've had your fill of 90 degree weather for now, it looks like some relief is on the way. The National Weather Service is forecasting partly cloudy skies with a high of 81 for Friday. There's a chance of showers for Saturday with a high of 68 expected. On Sunday, there's a chance of scattered thunderstorms with a daytime high of 77.
Was the two-day heat wave too much for you? How did you find relief?
