Westport Library Hosts Reception For Local Artist

WESTPORT, Conn. – A reception for Westport artist Jay Petrow will be held Friday, July 11, at the Westport Public Library for the opening of his exhibit, "Painted Abstractions."

The reception runs from 6-7:30 p.m., and the exhibit runs through Oct. 8. It is the first solo show for Petrow, who has previously participated in group shows in Vermont and in juried exhibtions in Westport and at the Silvermine School of Art.

Petro owns and operates Westport-based Petrow Gardens, a residential landscape design business that serves homeowners in Fairfield County, Conn., and Westchester County, N.Y.
