WESTPORT, Conn. – Berchem, Moses & Devlin, a law firm in Westport, made a $1,000 donation to Homes With Hope, a Westport-based nonprofit that provides emergency and permanent housing to the homeless.
The money will be used by Homes With Hope clients to purchases necessities such as food, gasoline and household items.
“With 2013 turning out to be one of the toughest winters in years, the impact on the homeless is particularly concerning,” said Ira Bloom, a senior partner at the firm and Westport town attorney. “Our contribution to Homes with Hope will provide help to those who need it most.
“Homes With Hope serves an important role in Westport, and the law firm is pleased to contribute to the agency’s mission of helping the homeless return to independence.”
Located at 27 Imperial Ave., Berchem, Moses & Devlin is a multispecialty law practice started in 1933. Some of the firm’s clients include small and mid-size businesses, government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. The firm also has an office in Milford.
