Westport Historical Society Enjoys Hidden Garden Tour, Party

WESTPORT, Conn. -- It was a great day for a garden tour and party as many supporters came out Monday, June 15, to view seven gardens in Westport and Southport as part of the Westport Historical Society’s Hidden Garden Tour and Garden Party at Gilbertie’s Herb Garden.

Participants were able to view a cut flower farm and design studio, a rose garden, shade gardens, an array of birdhouses, as well as flowering shrubs, perennials, bulbs and annuals.

The event also featured hors d’ oeuvres, wine, music, silent and live auctions and a hat competition.
