The Girl Scouts helped to restore a native meadow and stenciled acorns on trees for a new interpretive nature trail the land trust will be opening for children this spring.

ALT provides recreation and educational opportunities for people to learn about nature in the towns of Westport, Weston, Easton and Fairfield.

Supported by approximately 1,000 annual donors, the group maintains 45 trailed nature preserves and other conservation properties on more than 1,700 acres of land.
