The classes are set to run at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 3, at the training classroom of the Westport Police/EMS Headquarters building at 50 Jesup Road in Westport.
Students in the class will learn "how to perform hands-only CPR (no mouth-to-mouth) for an adult who does not show signs of life, how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and how to assist an adult who is choking and cannot breathe," representatives said. Hands-only CPR takes 30 minutes to learn. The program is not a certification-level class.
