WESTPORT, Conn. If you're looking to make an addition to your family this holiday season, Westport Animal Shelter Advocates may have the perfect four-legged companion for you.
There are currently four dogs available for adoption through the nonprofit, known as WASA. Among them is Mitchell, a 2-year-old basset-coonhound mix. Mitchell, also known as the "Mitch Man," is described as a "very affectionate" puppy who loves to play with other dogs. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is neutered.
Also available for adoption is Cleo, an 8-year-old terrier mix. Cleo is described as a "sweet girl" that likes attention and short walks. But, if you're looking for a high-energy dog to escort you on the hiking trails, Cleo's not for you. However, she may be the perfect match for someone looking for a calm companion. Cleo is up-to-date on her vaccinations and spayed.
One of the most recent arrivals is Brady, "a big friendly bear of a dog" that was rescued from I-95. He's a little more than 1 year old and is currently learning basic commands. He was recently neutered and vaccinated courtesy of WASA.
The last eligible pup available for adoption is Romy, a 10-month-old boxer- mix. Romy is described as a friendly dog that loves attention and is eager to please. She is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations.
For more information about any of these dogs, or to request an adoption application, contact WASA at firstname.lastname@example.org.
