Weston Volunteers Sought for Emergency Team

WESTON, Conn. – Members of the Weston Police Department are seeking volunteers to become part of a community emergency response team.

On March 3 and 4, Weston officials and public safety officers will train volunteers to help residents prepare for townwide emergencies. Volunteers will be trained in fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical care. 

The program will be at the Weston Volunteer Fire Station, 52 Norfield Road, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days. If you are interested, call 203-222-2627 or email Officer Joe Miceli at jmiceli@westonpolice.com.
