WESTON, Conn. The Weston Community Service Coalition is looking for volunteers to act as neighborhood captains to help their neighbors during emergencies like the power outages caused by the October snowstorm and Tropical Storm Irene
The coalition is looking for 190 volunteer captains, one for every 20 households. To learn more about volunteering, email Ken Edgar at simick54@gmail.com. Include your address and indicate your interest in serving as a neighborhoods captain or helping emergency comfort station staff.
