More than 30 U14 boys and members of the Weston High School team played together on the Weston High School turf field, each wearing a blue and yellow wristbands inscribed with the words "We Remember AJ."

The game began with a midfield circle and a moment of silence, then the players went on to celebrate their friend by playing the game he loved.

Throughout the coming year members of AJ’s team, the U14 Boys, along with all of the U13s and 14s, will wear a No. 4 patch, AJ’s number, in his honor.

The teams played with their honorary coaches, who are members of the high school team, and high school varsity coach Kevin Fitzsimmons, who was in attendance as one of AJ's former coaches.
