Lady Gaaah Gaaah, DiscGoat and 52 more kids are on the loose at the Weston Public Library.
Come and check out the goats that have been decorated and transformed into different characters by preschoolers, children, adults and groups at the Weston Children's Center and Weston Historical Society's Spring Fling on May 14 from 2 to 6 p.m. The kids will be on display at the library until the day of the event.
Five finalists have been chosen, and those attending the May 14 event will be able to cast a vote for the winner. There will also be face painting, a bounce house, story hour, a fire truck, live goats, wine tasting, baked goods, and arts and crafts. Karl Chevrolet will be there with a Chevy Volt. There will also be cupcake samples and a photo opportunity with a cutout of the Billy Goats Gruff.
This is the first year for "Kids on the Loose." Proceeds from the event will go to special programs as well as to the historical society's archive fund. The cost is $20 per family or $5 per person.
