WESTON, Conn. -- The Weston Historical Society has teamed up with Diageo’s Don Julio Brand to present its second annual Tequila Tasting fundraiser from 7:30-11 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at the Weston Historical Society Museum.
The tasting will benefit the society’s preservation work and support its educational programs and upcoming exhibits. A “tequila ambassador” will present the tasting.
In addition, Diageo will provide margaritas, old-fashioned cocktails and its sommelier’s selection of wines and craft beer.
The cost is $75 per person and tickets can be p urchased by clicking here.
Marcia Selden Catering & Events will cater the event with an array of hors d’oeuvres, tapas and desserts.
Uber rides to and from the event will be available for a nominal charge.
The event will feature prizes, including a private cocktail party for 20 catered by Marcia Selden Catering, a round of golf for three and lunch at Rolling Hills Country Club with trustee Russ Golden.
