Here's a great way to kick off the summer season: Join the Weston Newcomers and Neighbors Club for its end-of-the-year summer bash by the water.
New residents and current residents are welcome to join the club for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and conversation from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 12. The cost is $35 per person. Newcomers and Neighbors offers a way to meet people if you are new in town or reconnect with others if you've been in town a while.
The club organizes events throughout the year, including holiday socials, book group, a tennis club, community outreach events, movie nights, bunko, spa retreats, men's poker nights and more. The Dining-In Club gets families together for themed nights at members' houses, while Ladies Night Out organizes dinners at local restaurants. In the spring, the club organizes a themed progressive dinner where families go to one house for appetizers, another for entrees and a third for dessert. There is a weekly Mommy and Me Book Group combining a book group with a play group for young children.
If you plan to attend, RSVP as soon as possible to Tiffany Green at firstname.lastname@example.org or Jessica St. Angelo at email@example.com so the hosts can get an exact number for the caterers. When you RSVP, you'll learn the address of the party.
