Weston Church Accepting Donations For 110th Family Fair

WESTON, Conn. -- Mark your calendars for Emmanuel Church’s time-honored, 110th Family Fair.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17.

Emmanuel is currently accepting donations and welcomes your gently used treasures for the event’s various tents. Collections have begun and donations can be dropped off at the parish hall as follows:

Thursday nights from 6:30 - 8 p.m. and Sundays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Additional collection dates between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays will begin Aug. 20.

Items in good condition are being accepted for the following booths: Toys, art, collectibles, jewelry and furniture. The church is unable to accept books, housewares/dishes/glassware (excluding collectibles), VHS or cassette tapes, bedding, clothing, cribs, stuffed animals, playpens, car seats, computers, televisions, electronics and sports/exercise equipment (i.e., helmets, cleats and skis are not eligible, but baseball bats/balls will be accepted). Bicycles and scooters also can be donated. A complete list of items that can and cannot be accepted can be found at www.emmanuelweston.org.

Drop-offs should be delivered to the Parish Hall on the Emmanuel Church campus, 285 Lyons Plain Road (signs will direct you to the right door). All donations are greatly appreciated. Questions may be directed to the church office at (203) 227-8565.
