Tiny Miracles Foundation Hosts Gala Fundraiser In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Tiny Miracles Foundation is hosting "A Night of Miracles" on Friday, May 2, in Westport.

The annual gala is set for 7 p.m. at The Inn at Longshore in Westport. The Tiny Miracles Foundation services Fairfield County and includes Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport and Danbury Hospitals. The committee is made up of residents of Westport, Fairfield, Darien, Stamford, Norwalk, New Canaan and Weston. 

"In a desire to increase its visibility in order to help more families, this year, for the first time in its nine year history, TTMF is presenting its annual gala, the Foundation’s primary fundraiser, in Westport," said a press release. "The Tiny Miracles Foundation, is dedicated to providing vital support and assistance to families with premature infants in the greater Fairfield County area, and to helping the medical community provide the best possible care for premature babies and their families."

Donors for the foundation include Balanced Nutritional Counseling, Callari Auto Group, Castle Wine & Spirits, Coastal Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Ellen Mahoney, Genevieve Lau Jewelry, Grey Goose, Honda of Westport, Imperial Dental, Inn at Longshore, Laurie Wright Photography, Lifeworx, Le Farm, Liquor Locker, Little Goose, Mitchell’s of Westport, Philip Bruce Salon, Saugatuck Sweets – Candy Bar, Westport Country Playhouse, The Westport Inn, Westport Wash & Wax, The Whelk and Zatcoff Wellness.

The gala co-chairs for the event are Jennifer Lau of Westport, Lisa Broder of Fairfield and Marisela Esposito of Weston.

"Many Westport families play major roles in TTMF as a result of the support they received after the birth of their own premature babies," a press release said. "In addition to serving on event, outreach and educational committees, parents also serve as mentors and advisers to new parents and are available to families both at the hospitals and in the parents’ homes."

Tickets for the gala are $250 per person. Proceeds benefit TTMF. The evening includes a silent and live auction, cocktails, strolling dinner and dancing. To order tickets or for more information, visit The Tiny Miracles Foundation website.
