Students From Westport's Sister City In China Pay Visit To Town Hall, Beach

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Twenty students from Wesport's sister city in China, Yangzhou, recently visited Town Hall, Bedford Middle School and Compo Beach.

Students ages 12-14 met with Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe and ate breakfast at Bedford Middle School. School principal Dr. Adam Rosen hosted the group breakfast with the BMS students and their mandarin teacher, Murray Martha. 

After the breakfast, Dr. Rosen gave the group a tour of the school and asked students to join a physical education class in the gym. 

Westport Schools Superintendent Dr. Colleen Palmer also met the students.
