Stroll Downtown Westport for a Good Cause

WESTPORT, Conn. – Birdhouses of all shapes, sizes and colors have popped up in various shop windows throughout downtown Westport for the 10th annual Birdhouse Stroll. It's a benefit for Project Return , a Westport residential facility that provides a safe home for teen girls in crisis.

The event will kick-off with a party at Spruce Home and Garden, 90 Post Road E., at 6 p.m. The party will feature hors d’oeuvres and drinks. The store is donating 10 percent of its sales from the day to Project Return.

From Spruce, residents can see all 106 birdhouses on display during guided tours downtown.

The stroll will end at 8 p.m. with a wrap-up party at Theory, 89 Main St., featuring desserts, drinks and a prize drawing. In honor of the event, Theory is offering customers a 10 percent discount off its entire collection from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. These savings will be donated to Project Return.
