Residents are asked to submit their best holiday cookie recipe and photo to Marcia Selden Catering’s Facebook contest page between Dec. 2 and 10 for a chance to win prizes. Food bloggers OmNom will select six cookies from the contest page Dec. 11 that will then be judged at Winston Flowers in Greenwich on Dec. 15. There will also be a people's choice winner awarded to the entree with the most Facebook Likes.
“We’re looking forward to seeing what delicious cookies people will come up with, and are thrilled to be working with talented chefs and bakers from our community who will be helping judge the winner,” said Robin Selden, executive chef of Marcia Selden Catering.
Included in the prizes will be a Cuisinart Food Processor, two tickets to Dinner Underground by Chef Plum, an autographed cookbook from celebrity baker John Baricelli of SoNo Baking, gift certificates from Sweet Lisa’s Exquisite Cakes and Marcia Selden Catering, a variety pack of premium granola bars from Nothin’ But Granola, a floral arrangement from Winston Flowers and a cookie jar from Juliska.
