WESTPORT, Conn. -- Olympic gold medalist and expert skating commentator Dick Button will speak about his new book, "Push Dick's Button: A Conversation on Skating from a Good Part of the Last Century-and a Little Tomfoolery," at the Westport Public Library on Sunday, April 6, from 2 to 3 p.m.

Button is widely considered the premier male figure skaters of all time. He dominated the world of figure skating for a seven-year period, winning two Olympic gold medals (1948 and 1952), five consecutive World Championships and seven U.S. National titles.

Button went on to an Emmy-Award winning broadcasting career.

Button is a member of the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame and Olympic Hall of Fame. He currently lives in North Salem, N.Y.

The Westport Public Library is located at 20 Jesup Road.

Button's book is available for purchase at Amazon.com and at the library event.
